It was a privilege for me to serve the parish community of Our Lady of Fatima Cathedral, even for a short period of time. This was the first time I was entrusted with the responsibility of serving as a Parish Priest. I am deeply grateful for the constant support and encouragement I received from the late Bishop Joseph Pathalil. I was also blessed with the wholehearted cooperation of the priests serving in Udaipur in various capacities, as well as the loving support of the faithful. Their guidance, encouragement, and collaboration made my ministry meaningful and fruitful. Even today, many of them continue to support and inspire me in my pastoral ministry, for which I remain sincerely thankful to God. During my stay in the parish, I experienced the deep faith and strong sense of unity among the people. The parish was going through an important phase in its journey, and it was inspiring to see how families remained actively involved in the life of the Church. Their cooperation, dedication, and love for the parish were truly encouraging. As a pastor, my effort during that time was to nurture the spiritual life of the community through the celebration of the Holy Eucharist, prayer services, and pastoral care for families. Meeting parishioners, listening to them, and sharing moments of prayer together helped strengthen the bond between the priest and the people. I thank God Almighty for the opportunity I had to serve the faithful of this parish, and I pray that Our Lady of Fatima will continue to guide and protect this beautiful community. May the parish grow ever stronger in faith, unity, and love in the years to come.
